Thank you to all who helped me solve my binding down issue on my 1800.
The problem was the reversing switches were not engaging.
Could I trouble anyone for the solution to two more problems?
1) When the selected record is done playing it is not ejecting. I have
to reach in with my hand and lightly push the needle armature down to
get it to eject.
Where is the adjustment screw located for point of ejection?
2) When a coin is dropped in and the make selection light appears, the
latch solenoid, located in the selector assembly no longer pulls the
selection switches over. I tested the solenoid itself by swapping it
with its twin in the coin grinder assembly, when I did this the coin
grinder worked as it always had and again the latch solenoid failed.
Do you think this could be caused by a bad latch solenoid resistor?
Would you know what value resistor I could replace this with to find
out?
Many many thanks,
It has been great just getting my beloved 1800 that I have owned for
over 25 years just playing again in any capacity.
