[Jukebox-list] Bulbs Humming?

Interesting to me, anyway. Just had a hearing test, using the tuning fork. The Dr. told me that if you can not hear the fork "in the air", but can hear it when pressed agaainst that bone, the hearing loss is hereditary, and hearing aids probably won't help much.

Anyway, the reason I wrote is: there's a bony place just behind your
ear that conducts sound quite well. I remember back in school we did
an experiment with a tuning fork that you could barely hear until you
pressed it against this area. Where Ron says "place it against your
ear," I actually place it against that spot behind your ear. I
thought others might find this helpful.
