The latch solenoid shouldn't be allowed to stay on for
extended periods.  It can overheat.  Seeburg assumed
(and the assumption was sound at the time) that a customer
would not walk away from the machine with unused selections
remaining, and therefore that the solenoid would not be
active for more than a few minutes at a time.
