Yeah.I never worry about records getting damaged in my Seeburgs or
Wurlitzer. In defense of Rockola I only seen that one 490 almost break a record because
it was misadjusted.I've never seen my 490-1 or 450 do it though they do
leave swirl marks after a while. The Seeburgs and my Wurlitzer 2150 don't.And
sometimes no matter how well you have a Rockola adjusted you sometimes can
hear certain records sliding against the separator when it's putting it back in
the basket.Of course that's what makes the swirl marks.A record dealer lady
told me I was crazy to have an original white label Veejay Beatles record
(Please,PleaseMe)in a jukebox. But it's louder and sounds better than the
repop. The sound jumps right out at you like the Beatles are there in my living room
and it's 1964 again.Maybe I should get it out of the Rockola and put it in
the Seeburg. :)
