[Jukebox-list] interchangeable motors?

Jackie,
Those small "animation"( sometimes referred to as "clock motors") motors are not hard to find---look at the motor, hopefully the voltage, speed and direction are marked on it. If so, you should be able to find a replacement. You also might try the Rock Ola part number. Either "Rock Ola Charlie", or Victory Glass may have it in stock by the PN !
  As for the volume up/down--
I don't think my earlier post made it onto the list--when does this happen? Is it humming all the time, or just at certain times during the cycle? As Justin said, could well be bad caps, bad connection in a plug, or, as I learned from Kyle's RO amp problem, the ground strap connector(s) that has oxidized. Ron Rich

  Hi,
Seems the Rockola animation motors are few?? and very far between. (I got this information from reliable sources!) My animatin motor for the Wurlitzer works, how could I tell if they are interchangable, I would much rather have the animation on the Rockola working than the Wurlitzer.

Is there something on the motor itself that I should check? It would be great if I could swap them out. Thanks for any advice,
Jackie
