[Jukebox-list] 3W1 questions

Doug,
I think it varied, from one production run to the next. I have seen some very white ones, and others, new in the envelope, that were more "beige" in color. Also, the red varies quite a bit, with some being much more translucent then others.
I have never cleaned them, other than to wipe the "crud" off them, and use something like "Windex", but have heard others say that a fine grain sandpaper will work. I would suggest that this does not clean them--only removes a "layer" of plastic.
As for the lamps, #55's work well, and last the "longest". Be sure to clean the clear plastic that runs behind the buttons, as it is designed to reflect the light thru the buttons. Ron Rich

  Hi Guys
Were the buttons on the Seeburg 3W1 wallboxes actually White or an Ivory
color? I am in process of cleaning them, what should I use besides soap
and water to get rid of the years of grunge? Also is there a brighter
bulb I can use to replace the original ones so that the letters and
numbers will show up better?

Thanks
Doug
