The P 132 D is marked "L" & "R" right on it--and BTW, all I've ever sold have been supplied with the clips in the container. Ron Rich

in Ebay Item 110073593922 This cartridge has four prongs. I was told the
bottom prongs close together are GROUND and the two upper spaced further
apart are input.
I think you're almost there. If you are trying to hook the two channels
of the cartridge in series, you need to hook your jumper "diagonally"
from the ground of one side to the "hot" or signal side of the other
channel. Then you connect your other "hot" or signal output (that is not
yet connected) to the input of your amplifier, and the ground that is not
yet connected to the amplifier ground. If you wanted to hook the two
channels in parallel (if there is too much output having them in series),
you would hook both signal "hot" leads to the amp input, and the grounds
to ground (or earth, as you might term it).
