[Jukebox-list] AMI G-200 problem

I have an AMI G-200 that is giving me a fit.  A few weeks ago it was playing just fine for hours, then suddenly missed a record for pick up and stopped with the mechansim in the play position with no record. It either went too far or not far enough, I don't know which. The volume is still muted, the reject will not work when the switch is moved manually. The motor won't move in either direction if uncovered and tried manually.  If I flip the switch I am able to move the motor one direction only, and the mechanism will travel all the way back to the record rack,  but when powered on again it cycles to the same point, just before the record would play, and stops, no sound. Can someone give me some idea what the problem  may be? I have a service manual, but I don't see this kind of help in it.
