Rick,
  Are you saying that after all these years, they have improved this needle, or is it just the fact that it is new, that made the difference? Also, how well does it fit into the cart.? In the past, they have been a little of the "fat" side, and would split the plastic on the cart., if not inserted very carefully.  Ron Rich
