Speaking of Elvis... (a true and funny story)
I have a Rowe CD-100 that had a failing CCC in a local nursing home. It was a metter of time until its demise because I was getting numerous checksum errors logged the past month. A supervisor told me this funny tale when reporting the jukebox's final malfunction to me.
It seems yesterday the residents were having a church service in the rec room and had just finished singing Amazing Grace. Immediately afterwards, the jukebox (which is not programmmed for autoplay) started playing Viva Las Vegas. Played it 5 consecutive times, quit, then the display read "Out of Order".
Elvis has left the building...
My question is "Why did they let it play 5 times during the middle of a church service???". Personally, I'd have just unplugged the darn thing.
I guess that is one more thing I need to take care of tomorrow...   :)
