Doug,
Before spending any money on a L-pad, look at your amp. There should be a "phono speaker switch" (or something marked somewhat in that manor) on it. If you do not have that switch on that amp, you will find a terminal strip with the taps marked for the main speaker--just lower the numbered tap used (same function as the switch). You may be able to reduce the volume to the main speaker enough to solve your problem, with that switch. The size L-pad to buy will be determined by the size speaker that you have used (8 or 16 ohm). Wattage should be determined by the output of the amp. Ron Rich

  HI All,
I was recently given some great help and advice when I wanted to hook up an extension speaker to my jukebox, it was said at the time that if the sound from the main speaker was to loud I may require an L pad to reduce it, well that has proved the case, yes I have RTM but it doesn't help me, I looked at the schematic on Vern's site but not being technical neither does that, I have looked at a few sites that sell L pads but I need help in the size required they state 8ohm or 16ohm, and 15w, 50w, 100w, can someone please point me in the right direction, Thank you.

Regards Doug.
