They are kind of fun but lack the flash and flair of a coin-op jukebox.
Pretty reliable beasts, designed for continuous play. In case you
haven't noticed, it is a 200-select Seeburg mech mounted "backwards"
from a regular juke. This has the advantage that the mech doesn't
block any of the loading slots.
Very simple selector, you flip a lever for each record to skip, play
side A, play both, or play side B. Turn it on and away it goes down
the A sides and back the B sides over and over until you turn it off.
The basic library unit has no amplifier or speakers, just a preamp.
It is intended to be connected to a background music or PA system,
or to a home hi-fi system. Monaural, of course.
I use one to scan newly-acquired 45s in the workshop. Load it with
unknowns and let it play, with a remotely mounted reject switch near
the workbench. If you have the space and have use for it, they can be
kind of fun. Unless it is immaculate, I would say it is worth around
$100 to $200. Not really all that collectible.
