A low-level amplifier that boosts the magnetic cartridge output to
drive a "Line" or "Aux" input on a power amplifier.  You can't
connect a speaker directly to the library unit.  You would need
a power amplifier like a home stereo unit.

Yes, but you will need an amplifier and it will not be stereo
unless you replace the tonearm and cartridge and add a stereo
preamplifier.

Probably a bit on the high side unless the cabinet is immaculate
and it is 100% complete including mech cover, back, etc.
