[Jukebox-list] Rockola 1448 selection reset coils burning out.

    Lee, according to the manual the 'Grip cam limit switch' is supposed to 
throw when the tone arm touches down on the record. This switch disconnects 
the 'hot' from the pin reset coils. These reset coils are NOT continuous 
duty and will always smoke if the voltage is not removed quickly. You made 
the mistake of replacing them without determining the cause. RTM! Wes
