The 33 conversion kit was even worse.  All it was was a
gear set and a set of 45 black-head styli.  Mine had been
so converted when I got it -- it had been in a local
yacht club.  I was not kind to LPs.  I guess they used it
in sort of an SICM type of application.  The slug ejector
had been removed.  My parents actually bought it for me
for Christmas, so I never saw it in situ. I've now owned
it more than half its life!
