[Jukebox-list] Wurlitzer 1800 out of cycle?

I have a Wurlitzer 1800 that any insight would be greatly appreciated.
I have tried with no success to solve the mysterious problem.
My issue is;
When you make a selection the drive motor turns the carousel around
until the internal selection arm runs into the selector tab that is
sticking up. Of course when this happens the arm stops from striking
the tab and then the record loading mechanism engages and loads the
selection.

On my 1800 when the arm strikes the selector tab it then binds down
with such great force it actually tries to bend the arm as it hits the
selection tab. What can I do to get this back into cycle?

I would really appreciate any help you could provide me with on this.
