I had a Trailblazer with that feature, but I never noticed
any difference in volume. I called a local Delco service
center and asked them, and they said that the radio would
always *seem* to be playing at the same volume because its
volume would be the same in relation to the background noise.
So, I asked, why did I continually need to adjust the
volume manually...? It did have some pretty cool "simulated
ambience" programs in it.
