I wonder if one of the intended functions of the slide
projector with its square screen was to rotate through
pictures of EP album covers.  My JAL has a 7" square
Rowe-AMI logo card in roughly the same place, which can
also hold an EP elbum sleeve.  That would make sense as
a play-stimulation concept.
