I got my AMI "A" from a fellow who owned a ServPro cleaning
franchise. I had worked for him part time when in college and
he knew I was into jukeboxes. He had taken it from a deadbeat
customer in lieu of payment. It was all taken apart, not
restored, but in pretty good shape with only the curtains,
mirror and "rainbo" animation tubes missing. He sold it to
me for $300, which is what the customer owed him. It had been
converted to play 45s, but still had all the 78 parts except
the tone arm, and the 45 tone arm is lighter anyway. I got
the animation color tubes from Wes.
