Dave,
I would like to see it--please either send it to ronnnrich at yahoo.com or post a listing to a site where I can view it.
I had heard that there was some connection (s ? ) between Western Union and Seeburg--have heard that Western Union used Seeburg patents regarding steppers, and that Seeburg "built" (some of ?) Western's equipment. The thing that is strange to me is, that as far as I know, Seeburg never made any steppers. That portion of the jukebox was supplied by Guardian as a "sub assembly", at least post WWII.

Seeburg was also making telecom equipment about this time.
Western Union had a service called "Deskfax" that would fax
telegrams to and from their central office and high-volume
businesses. The faxes were postcard sized, like telegram,
not full page. These machines were made by Seeburg. I can
provide pictures if anyone wants to see one. Perhaps they
thought telephone switching technology was something they
should gain expertise in.
