Wow, and here I'd though all along that mailing lists
*replaced* bulletin boards.  I think the last time I
logged into a bulletin board was around 1988.  What
are the advantages of going the bulletin board route?
The advantage of mailing lists were that you didn't have
to pay for a toll call while you were reading and
replying, only downloading and uploading - and my uucp
connection *was* a major expense in those days, even
with Tollpack.
