Steve, if your kitchen light don't work you do not change the bedroom
light. This analogy is somewhat like your juke problem. Don't clutter your
analyzing with irrelevant clutter. Basically, if manually tripping any
selection pin will start the scan, this will eliminate any scan problem. In
your case, I would not suspect all 6-0 coils were bad. I would look for some
circuit that is common to these coils. Wes.

Subject: [Jukebox-list] Wurlitzer 2810 Scan Problem...I Think!?!
Hello all,
This box had the following problem, if selections containing numbers 1 thru
5 were made, ( i.e. C3, A1, E5), no problem, it would play those selections.
Whenever selections containing 6 thru 0 were made, you could hear the
selector pin assembly line up to the appropriate trip pin, but the coil
would not energize and the scan motor would not engage or even make an
attempt to. If I manually "tripped" the A7 lever, it would start scanning
and pick up normally and play just as well as the other 'keyboard' selected
pins, (the aforementioned numbers preceding 6).
Here's the kicker, I've been checking connections, un-plugging then
re-seating, wiggling those relays, even replacing them with known good ones
from an Americana 2, and cleaned keyboard switches. It's now not scaning for
any selection. Just as I thought I was doing it a favor, it took a dump on
me. I must admit that Wurlitzers are my weakness now, but I am very capable
with the other major three. This must be my third Wurly. Any help is very
much appreciated....help.
Cheers, Steve
