Could be.What I can't believe is the left channel(channel 1) I could hear  
some low rushing noises on the quiet parts of records or with an empty slot  
which I read is a common issue with the transistor,however the channel that  
failed was quiet as could be and failed suddenly.Maybe I need 2 now?There is  some 
sound on the bad channel.Just faint and very distorted.
