  Thanks for the info--now that you mention it, I remember that when I see an amp with a bunch of 470K's, I always check the values--found quite a few that have changed value--( I don't reall seeing a number of the 390's going bad--but, as I always say---------I have a great memory, it's just not too long) Ron Rich

sounded good before,it's gotta sound even better when I'm done.I'll post the 
outcome.
