I saw a few of those auctions, and was concerned that they say that, due to
problems with the "limited funcionality" of eBay's Live Auction system, "the
items
in this auction are being posted in USD. All values, while posted as being in
USD, should be considered Swiss Francs."  Hmmm, have to do a mental conversion
each time you read the auction or place a bid?  Sounds like a potential trap
to me.

Some nice items, though, in a  "big boy's toys" kind of way.  I'll bet
that's the
source of the material, too...some formerly elite vendor to rich "kids"...or a 
dead collector's estate...
