Hi.

OK, FIRST, open the front doors. (Open top, prop in place, then pull up on 
the front door latch handle behind the keyboard.
THEN, inside, about 8 or 10 inches in on each side, there are 2 very simple 
turning latches that hold the light panel in place.  Turn them 45 degrees 
and then the light panel will swing down on hinges.

I can provide photos if you need them.

If you plan on keeping the machine, invest in a manual.
