. Now to your question, you need not to be concerned with watts. Your
amplifier has previously determined this for you. At most it will pump out
25 watts. How it will be distributed is controlled by the efficiency of the
additional speaker you use. If it is efficient as the cabinet speaker and is
eight ohms, the power output will be equally shared. There is no provision
on the amplifier to increase the output going to the extra speaker as when
the link is removed, both speakers will be in series. As stated earlier,
this is a primitive system and does not enjoy the advancements of later
systems.
The only way an advanced system can be used is to connect a line
transformer backwards and feed eight ohms into it and get a seventy volt
output that can be used with other matching transformers at the extra
speakers. Wes
