That can be caused by many things, some very difficult to find (there is a
fuse on the credit unit).

When I got my first juke back together (LS1) I was disappointed to have it
scan twice and not scan again (no mater what I did). By using the schematic
and service manual I was able to figure out what needed to happen to make it
scan then I got out my voltage meter and found a dead circuit. It turned out
water had gotten into the juke and a little sat inside the control center
transformer rotting one of the windings. It took 3 used control centers from
Ebay to get a good transformer.

Electrical problems can sometimes be very difficult to find especially long
distance. On this group and others I have seen people get way too frustrated
by them and give up. But I admire your willingness to forge into new
territory and learn new skills.

If you can get it for a really good deal and you can handle it when it turns
out not to be a quick fix - go for it.
