Hi Jens,
It is indeed the same with A and B sides. Checked is according to me:
cleaned and adjusted as mentioned in the manual... The stopping switches are
replaced; the selections pins are being reset. Could this be a faulty
reversing relay?

It's been a while but...is it the same with A and B sides?
Check the cam switches on the right side of the transfer mech...you say you
checked all the switches, but "check" can mean different things. These
switches are open blade so the are easy to adjust.
Check the stopping switches in front of the pinwheel. They may be defective
or they may not be resetting properly (reset solenoid problem).
