I think he means that the blue ring overlaps too much of the lead in groove 
on the 45.

Hi all,
I thought you had to change the cam in order to have the tone arm set down 
at
the 7" mark and not the 10" mark (that was the only reason to do this)? Wes, 
are
you saying the blue rings have the lead-in groove cut into them? I just 
looked
at mine and they don't have any grooves. The arm must set down at the 7" 
mark to
use the ones I have. The cart I have (not installed yet, still using the
original 51) is a modern release 51 type (Sonotone 2T-SD) that is mono, but
stereo compatible and has a record player type flip over needle with LP on 1
side and 78 on the other. Rick.
