[Jukebox-list] Advice on cleaning up speaker grille on Rock-Ola Ultra 437

Greetings from Downunder.

 

I'm in the process of restoring my Ultra 437 back to showroom condition
(hopefully!), and am working on the door. I've noticed that the speaker
grille on the door is tarnished and yellowed in places - bright silver
in others. Can anyone suggest a cleaning method to restore the grille -
I suspect pastes will leave an ugly powder residue - is there a liquid I
could use? I'd also like to try cleaning the grille in-situ if possible.
