Jeff, if this is a rigid metal screen, the solution is easy. Get yourself a quart of ammonia and a cheap box of powered laundry detergent. Mix a heavy duty mixture of both the ammonia and detergent together in water in a large tub/sink. Use a medium bristle scrubbing brush and soak the screen fully in the solution an brush it. You won't believe the result, that yellow nicotene will come right off along with the years of scum! Rinse well with water.....
