Wasn't there a brand of "speckeled paint" called "Zolatone"? There was an old operating company that had many Seeburg 100's, and I think that they must have re-painted theme with that stuff anytime they got one into their shop---  Ron Rich

I beg to differ...AMI offered the most choices of anybody for colors and
finishes. I have an E in storage that is speckle-green, as well as one with
a greenish "woodgrain" appearance. I think there is one other, but I don't
remember what it is. The D's were available in a bewildering array of
colors too.
