[Jukebox-list] AMi E cabinet finish

    Back in the late fifties this paint was a fad and we painted everything in sight with it. It water based and the toughest stuff I have ever encountered. It was great for protecting the original finish. If you run across one of these, do not use expletives, just remove it and you will find some fine veneer there.Wes

Wasn't there a brand of "speckeled paint" called "Zolatone"? There was an old operating company that had many Seeburg 100's, and I think that they must have re-painted theme with that stuff anytime they got one into their shop---  Ron Rich

I beg to differ...AMI offered the most choices of anybody for colors and
finishes. I have an E in storage that is speckle-green, as well as one with
a greenish "woodgrain" appearance. I think there is one other, but I don't
remember what it is. The D's were available in a bewildering array of
colors too.
