    In my area the 3400 series the maximum time on location was about one 
month. The service persons gave up on trying to repair them, and would 
threaten to quit if their boss did not replace them. Of course the boss 
didn't know diddly-doo about repairs and had no choice except to retire the 
beasts to the back room until some unsuspecting novice came along and begged 
for one. Wes
