Well I bought a R-83 this summer for 45$, it works fine, was all there,
cabinet was solid and the price was right. Even though you're correct
about it's ugliness, I couldn't pass up the deal. But I can't tell you
if I like it or not. I stuck it in my garage under plastic for another
one to play around with this winter.
Tell me JHayes what do you find appealing about yours?
