[Jukebox-list] Wurlitzer 2510 is home and it plays(somewhat)

Seeburg went to the "square" AMP brand with the LPC-1. They then changed to the "new--improved" AMP "Mate and Lock" type ( which had the round type male/female pins) starting with the "Electra/Fleetwood" models. In my humble opinion, the original "square pin" type have proved to be better. Starting with the LS-3, Seeburg changed most of the plugs to the "Molex" brand, which once again, I think was an improvement over the "round pin" AMP type. Then starting with the SMC-1, they reverted to the "round pin" type of AMP plugs--a really "stoopid" move, in my opinion--Ron Rich
