Hey, I might have asked this before: what kind of wire is originally
used to drive the needle brush?  My 2410 was completely missing this
when I got it.

I now have it working, but any right-thinking member of this list
should probably get a shiver up his/her spine when I explain that I
fixed it using a single insulated conductor from a piece of 8-pair
phone wire. :-)

Nothing says unprofessional job like wrinkles in your duct tape, eh?
