I haven't done the learn-in recently, probably a couple of years. Maybe
in that time I've changed a couple of dozen cd's. I'll try it tonight.

There's a near-dead part of my brain that finds this familiar... now if
I
could just remember....

Have you done the "learn-in" routine? It's supposed to pick up the TOC
from
new disks as you put them in, but as I recall, I had to do the
"learn-in"
routine to solve some problem.

I recently noticed my SCD-1A won't play any more than the first 8 tracks
on a disk when making an album play selection, it's probably always been
that way I just haven't paid attention closely to the tracks played. I
can't find anything in the service manual regarding the maximum number
of tracks allowed on album play, only states album play enables all the
tracks on a disc. I'm wondering if this is unique to my box or all the
SCD models will only play 8 tracks when the album play feature is
enabled. If it part of the design it must be in the programming on the
eprom in the PCM-2000 control module, does anybody know of a work-around
to get all the tracks to play...... thanks, Jeff Dieterle
