[Jukebox-list] AMI model 'K' amplifier: Are are units redundant?

I understand that the AMI model 'K' fitted with the Stereo Control
Amplifier used external speakers when used in stereo mode. However,
I'm only interested in monaural reproduction using the machine's inbuilt
speakers. My AMI 'K' has the following units in the amplifier
compartment:
1. 'Basic Amplifier Assembly'.
2. This in turn is fitted with a detachable unit called the 'Add-on
Power Amplifier' .
3. Then there is a separate unit, the 'Stereo Control Amplifier'

If I only want mono sound using the jukebox inbuilt speakers, do I
need to use all three units?
I notice there is a separate input to both the 'Basic Amp' and the
'Add-on Power Amp' does this mean I only need to use the Basic Amp?

If the Stereo Control Amp isn't required, does the 12 way socket on
the Basic Amp have to be jumpered in any way?

I'm about to start re-capping the amps so don't want to waste time/
money on units I don't require.

Thanks for any responses. Paul in U.K
