[Jukebox-list] Rowe/AMI Scan issue, again.

OK,
I bought the *flowery* manual and am still stumped.

The machine selects and plays just fine, but I can't get the magazine scan 
to work in service mode.  This is going to make changing records tedious for 
the next owner who's a friend of mine and NOT mechanically inclined.

If I were to scan the schematic and all associated pages, could someone take 
a look and offer some suggestions?  The manual isn't particularly helpful on 
voltage readings and such.  It goes through a fairly confusing sequence of 
operations, but mentions nothing about this particular function.
The same scan control assembly is used during regular operation, obviously, 
but the manual is suprisingly short on information about it.

Some of the manual is well done, other parts leave you wondering what 
they're talking about, like the many specific parts of assemblies that are 
mentioned, but not pointed out in the mediocre diagrams.

Ranking this manual below Rock-Ola and Seeburg, and about on par with 
Wurlitzer....
