As long as we're asking, I bought this rockola 414 along with a Rowe R-88
last week for $400 for the pair. I had been paid for minor repairs on the
R-88 in the last year or so as this is a regular customer of mine. Both
jukes were looking rough but complete. I knew the R-88 would need a lot of
cosmetic work and I have done that. It now looks like a million bucks. It's
now worth....what.....$600 max? No problem. How about the Rockola? I have
$200 in it and rented it out to a local HS reunion for $100 for the night.
It looks complete and the selection system works......it will scan and
select a record (select and push a pin) but it will not rotate the magazine
and find that record to play. I disconnected the amp to be on the safe side.
I guess I have $100 in it. The crome/aluminum is so bad, it looks like it
was painted but other than that, it looks like a very nice jukebox. Y'all
think I should sell it or do you think I should fix it up for sale? I have
no idea if this is a desirable jukebox or not. Thanks for your input.....
