Yeah, the credit system is pretty amazing, in a brute-force way.  There is a 
switch called (I think) the "magazine switch" that is pulled in when credit
is established, it is a big carbon block that is pulled against a copper 
wiper blade about 5/16" wide.  This carries the current for the entire system
(not including the couple of 7-watt lamps).  When there's no more credit, and
the song is over, it pulls open and you're done!  This, incidentally, is
one of the problems my uncle's machine is having...that copper wiper is burned
down to a nub!  Haven't found any replacement yet, either.  My dad was trying to
cut one out of soft copper sheet, but I was skeptical of the likelihood of
success...anyone know of replacement availability?
