The reason everyone told you that was that you mis-described the symtpon--you did not say that the gears stopped turning !

Everyone on the newsgoup was trying to tell me that the clutch on my Seeburg 
SS-160 was bad. An old pro I know was in town a couple of weeks ago and he 
took a look at it. Turned out to be a missing screw in the motor coupling.
