  I'm surprised also, but I still feel that if you had mentioned that the turntable, or gear, was not turning, one of the guys here would have said to check and see if the motor/motor coupling was turning---No big deal, glad it's fixed. Ron Rich

Ron, I said that the mech moved okay in the left direction, but needed help 
going back to the right. It also selected the record and played it just fine, 
but had trouble ejecting it. The guy who spotted the problem was surprised that 
it was even doing this much.
