Justin,
I think you are right on the amount of wallboxes that have drilled holes.
I currently own 10 wallboxes and have owned probably about 20. The 10 I have 
now are not drilled. The other 10 I sold I am not sure because I never 
checked them. I did not know about the "Marquee" then.

I also look at wallboxes for sale at shows and on Ebay and have not found 
any that are drilled yet. I am thinking that if one was drilled, it had a 
marquee at some time and the drilling was part of the installation. I also 
think that the installer drilled the holes and none were originally drilled 
"in case" a marquee was to be installed.

I checked mine with magnet. It is not magnetic. It has weight so I am 
assuming that it is stainless.

In reproducing these I am totally after looks. They really look good 
installed.
