Rick,
I think you have an electrical problem in both phono's. Check that the grounds are good on ALL of the Tormat (RCA type) plugs. Check that the lowest set of contacts on the upper stack are making when the mech is in the scan position, and that they are opening in the play position (see the service manual for proper adjustment). Then check the trip relay in the DCC. Be sure it is the correct one for the control center that you are using, and that the contacts are clean and free of "pits". (P.S. If you had a copy of my "Seeburg Microlog Trouble Shooting Guide", you would know all of that!!)Ron Rich

Thanks Tony, but im still confused about something. If something was sticking on the mech,ie: safety plunger, trip lever, etc. What does removing the power actually do to make it scan and play another selection? The removal of the AC is an electronic action not physical??? Please explain. I want to understand this fully so i can get these machines functioning properly. BTW i am planning to purchase the black and grey box machines book too.
Regards,
Rick
