Wes,
thanks for all that info. I still have not gotten a straight answer from
the seller on stereo/mono. She did send an email and said the plate in the
back of the machine reads "2410" with no "s" after it. I am thinking that
means mono. I asked her to read the red lettering across the front of the
machine, "Wurlitzer Hi-fi Stereo" or "Wurlitzer Hi-fi Music". Maybe she
forgot. A bit of a disappointment as most of my records are stereo. I am
not sure of the re-issue records, if they are stereo or reproduced as mono.
Is it possible to replace the cobra cartridge with a stereo cartridge? or
would that affect the Amp to do that? Interesting about the Wallbox, I
wonder why they did not have a Wurlitzer Wallbox instead of the Seeburg 3W1?
Regardless of the stereo/mono issue, I am excited to get it and get it
running. I still need to order a manual.
Jackie

Personally, I prefer the 2404 with simpler circuits. This should make no
difference to you. The 104 mechanisms had years in production to perfect it.
The 2410 mechanism is a first. You would think it would be like the 2310 but
its not, and its an improvement over the 2310. The 2404 uses a 257 stepper
for remote selection and it is placed on the inside floor of the cabinet.
This is real straight forward and easy to find. The 2410 places a very
compact stepper in the pin bank assembly and cannot be seen without close
examination. Yours may or may not have one. The 2410 was designed to be
connected to Seeburg 3W1 wallboxes. Just remember if it uses a Cobra
cartridge, it will ruin stereo records. For this reason the 2410S would be
the better choice if it is not dual pricing. Wes
