[Jukebox-list] Rockola 5000x gala cd juke Volume hookup

I just got this juke back together (I purchased it with 10 other jukes last 
year). I am want to make sure I have the stock volume control (single vol 
pot on the back of the juke) hooked up properly. When I got this juke 
everything was apart, components were piled up inside it. Almost all of the 
reassembly was straight forward.

I just got the manual today and it gives a basic diagram showing the hookups 
on the amp. Three wires come from the volume control and go to the amp. 
Black, Red, and black/orange. Black is ground, black/orange is the reject, 
but I am having trouble figuring out the red. The diagram shows it going to 
three connections. Black goes to ground, black/orange goes to the terminal 
marked cancel, but there are 4 screws that deal with volume (R vol in, L vol 
in, vol out R, vol out L). 

I currently have the red going to "L vol in, R vol in, and vol our R". It 
seems to work fine and there is proper stereo separation.

Does that make sense? 

Just wanted to make sure I got it right.
