Hi Chris, I am no technical expert, but I think you
would be going to a whole lot of bother to achieve
this if it at all possible. Remember the W amp is a
whole lot more than an amp on these machines. There is
a whole bunch of stuff connected to the mechanism to
deal with. Personally I would wait and source the
correct replacement. I tried connecting my technics hi
fi amp to my AMI B once as a make do. The sound was
terrible compared to the original.
